Lamin Fofana: Shafts of Sunlight

In seiner improvisatorischen Performance „Shafts of Sunlight“ spielt Lamin Fofana mit Fragmenten und Trümmern aus ausgedehnten Studio-Sessions. Das Ende lässt er offen, auch weil er auf einer zweiten Ebene mit Unterbrechungen der linearen historischen Zeit auf die „Blues-artige Zeit“ abzielt, in der alles gleichzeitig im Moment, in der Vergangenheit und im zeitlosen Raum der imaginierten Zukunft spielt. Die Intensivierung dieser Erfahrung von Gleichzeitigkeit ist in der ergänzenden Installation zu erleben.
In his improvisational performance "Shafts of Sunlight" Lamin Fofana plays with fragments and debris from extended studio sessions. He leaves the end open, also because on a second level he aims at "blues-like time" with interruptions of linear historical time, in which everything plays simultaneously in the moment, in the past and in the timeless space of the imagined future. The intensification of this experience of simultaneity can be experienced in the complementary installation.
