Das Composer-Performerinnen-Duo OTHER EYE (Yiran Zhao und Kirstine Lindemann) räumt mit dem tradierten Postulat auf, Musik wäre in erster Linie Sound. In ihren Musikperformances arbeiten sie meist ohne herkömmliche Instrumente, stattdessen mit feinsten körperlichen Impulsen, die medial unter die Lupe genommen werden. Auch dieses Programm bietet einen hochausdifferenzierten, nuancierten Katalog von Bewegungen und Gesten, die in vielfachen Kombinationen zu immer neuen Klang-Erzählungen gerinnen.

The composer-performer duo OTHER EYE (Yiran Zhao and Kirstine Lindemann) breaks with the traditional postulate that music is primarily sound. In their musical performances, they usually work without conventional instruments, but instead with the finest physical impulses, which are scrutinized through the media. This program, too, offers a highly differentiated, nuanced catalog of movements and gestures that coagulate in multiple combinations into ever new sound narratives.
